All District Choral Festival Rescheduled to Tuesday, March 3rd:
https://enumclawwa.sites.thrillshare.com/article/2722617Dear ESD Families,
The Enumclaw School District All District Choral Festival must be moved from its original date, Tuesday, February 24th, to the following Tuesday, March 3rd. We are having to make this date change due to our boys varsity basketball team needing to host a finals game. They have worked hard to earn this high seeding within their rankings, and we have tried to work with the WIAA and all building Administrations to find a different solution. However, the only option is to utilize the gym for the basketball game on the 24th, which moves our concert event to the following Tuesday, March 3rd.
All of your students' music teachers are informed and they will be letting your students know when they see them. Please feel free to inform them early as well.
All times of arrival and start time are all going to be the same.
We know this is an inconvenience, but it is also a celebration of how wonderful the sports and music activities are here at Enumclaw.
We look forward to seeing you on March 3rd, and we thank you for your continued support and patience.
Thank you all,
The Music Team of Enumclaw School District

Today our students enjoyed some Valentine's Day fun around the school! Classrooms were busy with card exchanges and creative projects, focused on friendship and kindness. It's always great to see students taking time to recognize one another and celebrate the positive community we've built together.
We hope everyone has a happy Valentine's Day tomorrow and a safe, relaxing Mid-Winter Break next week. Enjoy the time off and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready to learn!

This week, we’re celebrating National School Counseling Week, and we couldn’t be more grateful for our incredible school counselor, Mrs. Bowen! Every day, she’s there for our students—listening, encouraging, problem-solving, and helping kids build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. From big feelings to everyday challenges, Mrs. Bowen plays a huge role in making our school a safe, caring place to learn.
Did you know that the upcoming levies help fund vital positions like our school counselor, providing services beyond what the state fully covers? This support helps ensure students have access to the care and guidance they need to thrive at school. We encourage our community to stay informed and remember to vote by February 10th. #ThisIsWhatTheLevyPaysFor

Did you know there are two important levies on the ballot in the upcoming special election? Curious about what those levies help pay for? Every day, our lunch and janitorial staff work behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. From preparing meals to maintaining healthy learning spaces, these dedicated team members play a vital role in our school community. These positions are partially funded through our local replacement levies, helping provide essential services beyond what the state covers. Their work supports a positive environment where students can focus on learning and thrive. Please remember to vote by February 10. #ThisIsWhatTheLevyPaysFor

Last Thursday, our 4th and 5th grade students finally took the stage for their winter concert, after it was postponed in December, and it was absolutely worth the wait! The performance was fresh, funny, and full of energy.
Our students amazed us with their confidence, musical talent, and even songs in different languages. We’re so proud of their hard work and perseverance. Bravo Southwood Panthers!
Did you know the upcoming levy renewal helps fund music and arts programs in our schools? Experiences like this are made possible through the continued support of our community, and we can’t thank you enough! Please remember to vote on February 10, we need music in our schools. #ThisIsWhatTheLevyPaysFor

Join us today as we reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his enduring message of equality, service, and hope.
Dr. King reminded us that “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” As we celebrate his work and vision, let’s strive to foster kindness, understanding, and unity across the Enumclaw School District and our community.
All buildings in the Enumclaw School District are closed today.

Did you know there are two important levies on the ballot in the upcoming special election? Curious about what those levies help pay for? Every day our para-educators work alongside students in small groups providing extra support, encouragement, and individualized attention that helps young learners build confidence and strengthen their skills. These dedicated staff members are partially funded through our local levies, allowing our school to offer learning support beyond what the state provides. These levies help ensure every child receives the time and attention they need to succeed. Please remember to vote on February 10. #ThisIsWhatTheLevyPaysFor
